Those Two Words
“I’m pregnant”
And with those words, I guarantee you your world will never be the same. For some, it means a lot and a joyous occasion to celebrate, while for others it means a bout of change that they’re not willing to face.  Why is it people in the heat of the moment, don’t think about the actions of today which leads to the events of tomorrow? Just acting out on pure emotions and then the next thing you know, a mini you is born and are you ready to face up to what’s ahead? I’ve been presented with that scenario before and it’s definitely something that hits you hard. Â
I’m writing this while I’ve got thoughts of a good friend who lives half way around the world. I caught up with her on Thursday and she broke the news that she was pregnant, I was pretty much ecstatic for her and that’s probably the best news that I’ve heard for 2007. She’s pretty much planned everything ahead and shortly I’ll be seeing her soon when she makes Australia her place of residence once more.  Hopefull I’ll manage to pull the funds out to accompany her when she makes her way back from the States. But here’s to you Gen and congratulations once again.
