An Old Friend

Tonight I had the opportunity to catch up with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in ages.  Although there was some bad feelings from the past seeing as there was a matter unresolved.  Simply put, he told an ex-girlfriend of mine something personal which he then blurted out one night in a drunken state.  We had already broken up already but he just put more wood in the fire you could say.

 Past is past now and seriously if I go on in life holding grudges, I think I’m going to add more frustration only to myself.  For me I always find it hard to let go of things, simply because I feel that my pride is at stake. 

It was Friday last week and I met him at the Pub, we shared a few laughs on how different we looked and what both of us were doing.  We arranged to meet up sometime and it turned out to be tonight.  Just went out and had dinner and played some chess games.  Some memories that I recall were this:

1. Ivan the psycho doing his rendition of the T1000 at my apartment

2. Me being the softest guy of the group and somehow getting girlfriends (I consider myself lucky).

3. Just late night activities and how we were all a big group.

4.  The end and what happened to everyone.

Don’t know what’s going to happen next but catching up with an old friend is good and I’ll just take it as it comes.
