Long Distance
I’ve been in a few long distance relationships and they always turn out with disastrous results. Even though I know what’s going to happen the minute I enter one, I can’t help but just go along with it. I mean you can’t control your feelings and you just hope that this time around, things will work out for themselves. I even googled tips on long distance relationships and there’s even a wikihow entry on how to make things work. Here’s your proof….
My problem with the long distance relationship was issues ranging from trust to who she could and can’t see. It’s hard to handle when your partner is far away and you expect them to run their life to cater as if you were right there with them. they’ve got their life to carry on with and so do you. You can try and break down certain rules and restrict their lifestyle, but then again what’s the point of it all since you are in a long distance relationship
Long distance relationships just are a waste of time, and in the end there has to be a compromise between the couple. You can no longer carry a charade of just emails, letters, webcams, occasional visits, presents etc. The end goal is that sooner rather then later, one or the other has to move to their respective partners country or city. The question is who is willing to make that sacrifice just for the shot of happiness and love?? Are you really willing to give up what was once your normal life, your family, friends, etc??Â
Who knows though, there’s a 50\50 chance that it can all lead to a happily ever after, but when it’s all gone to failure, can you pick up the pieces again?Â
