That picture I believe was when I was possibly 6 or so, and it was in front of the Berlin Wall.  Being a kid and so innocent, there was no way in my mind I even knew what the Wall was all about and what it represented.  As we all know the Wall did eventually go down and it signified a time of change.  Germany became a united country and was no longer referred to as East and West Germany.  26 years later and a lot of things in time have changed, however I look at this world now and sometimes wish that I could go back to those times when things were so much simpler.

Everything now has become so high tech and we take a lot of things for granted. For example, I use to predict the weather by simply looking at the mountain ranges and be able to tell what my day would be like.  Nowadays, you can simple get that information from your iPhone (the latest and greatest of mobile technology).  Emails are now the norm for keeping in touch with friends, family and loved ones, and fading away is the art of writing a letter which held more meaning.  The internet is certainly making things easier and quicker to access information and no longer do you require going to the library when doing research.  In fact I dare say that things nowadays are becoming more and more automated that things one day will no longer require human interactions and instead it’ll all be done via a PC.

Regardless, even though things have gotten impersonal and one day I won’t even have to get out of bed to go to work, I still have adapted and accepted change.  It all comes down however to the individual and whether or not they are will to evolve and go along with the change.  That’s all for now, it was just a random thought…..
