My year in review Part 2

This car was my first but definitely not my last, it took to me a lot of places and I loved driving it since it was like an escape for me. I blame my procrastination and laziness for its theft and it all came down to one simple thing. It’s called insurance and now I can see why people insure things such as cars, houses, home contents and hell it even saved my butt in USA during my stint with appendicitis.
It happened to me early in the year when I had work and I parked in my regular spot in the morning. Fast forward to the end of my shift and I made my way to the car, puzzled though as it wasn’t where it normally was parked. It wasn’t until a work mate who was with me had pointed out that there was broken glass on the ground and what do I see with the broken glass, but the tinting that normally goes with it. This then confirmed two things, that my car was indeed stolen and that I was stupid enough to believe that no one would still my car!!!! My reaction went from …. to !$(*I%@# but lessons learnt and if this year I do end up getting another car then that I’ll never take anything for granted.
